I Only Ate the Carrots

Just for fun, why not head over to criminalelement.com and check out this lively roundtable Q&A with some of the contributors from 21ST CENTURY DEAD—a forthcoming zombie anthology edited by Christopher Golden. It’s three quick-fire questions. All silly stuff, really (first undead love—that kind of thing), but a light-hearted way to spend five minutes of your time, and hopefully whet your appetite for some great zombie fiction.

21ST CENTURY DEAD will be in bookstores everywhere on July 17. I’ll be posting more details very soon. But if you want to get your order in right now (and who could blame you?), feel free to head over to Amazon (or your local bookstore—heck, that works, too), and make it happen.

By the way … these roundtable questions were not sent via e-mail. Hell no. We really were sitting around a large round table, chugging beer and trying to outsmart one another. There was a human cadaver on a silver platter in the middle of the table, beautifully sautéed with a sage-cider cream sauce, with steamed brains and honey glazed carrots on the side.

John McIlveen (dressed like Sir Galahad; I think he got confused about the whole roundtable thing) had three helpings. And a peach cobbler for dessert.

All of the above is true.
